Description: The "Nike True City" app provides hyper-local, real-time information for 6 European cities. It combines expert curation of news and events info, crowdsourced information discovery (with a chance to become an official guide), push notifications, QR codes printed and posted around the city and apparently a little Augmented Reality. Of course True City also lets you learn about shoes you can buy.
The app doesn’t stop at showing you cool stuff: you can also update the content yourself, adding suggestions to True City. The app includes a broad range of content from food and drink to art, shopping, culture, music, and sports. Spread the word on your favorite place, tag it, share it and stick it on the map.
Role: In collaboration with "Metrofarm Berlin" I worked on developing an interior-installation for the "Nike True City app" showroom in Berlin Mitte. By using themes from the app, we build up a light-based environment, which should guide you through features and give you an great impression off the new app.
