Description: Jashua Davis is an american designer, author and artist in new media. He uses processing as tools to generate art. In his lecture "Beyond play: The art of creating coding" Jashua asked people: "What is the opposite of work?". 20 adults said: Play. 100 children said: Home, lazy, relaxed, boring, hard, not work (very few said play).
On a vacation you do things you like. You collect a lot of data and become creative without really thinking about it. Play doesn't mean it's not work to Jashua Davis.
So making things you like turns into work.
"Play becomes work & work becomes play".
Role: Primarily this project was meant to give people an introduction and insight to what technology can do about the visual language. It’s all about experimenting and exploring new ways to use a visual language.
Inspired by Joshua Davis working methods and my Iceland-trip, I have collected all possible data and mixed it all together to one visual. The whole process is listed up below step by step.
Creative fields: Photography, Cinomatography, Video editing, 3D & Print Design.

The data from analog edited pictures is put into an 3D rendered object. The output of it is shown below.
All picture data has been manipulated by several analog technics. See the outcome below.
All data mixed together has been edited into a visual movie. Below you can see the output frame by frame.
